by on Jan.11, 2011, under Creativity, Graphic Arts, Web Design-Development

Nikki JeskeI guess I can’t really recall or pinpoint when Nikki came into the whole process of these interviews, but really, it doesn’t matter. She’s been supportive of me and the output I do from the word go. It’s something I know I appreciate much. You can find her on twitter at designcoyote (Twitter).

Here it is in all its 5 long glory in reverse order.
  • We received an @reply about it saying the current one sucked
  • Lost all of the source files for all branding elements

Synfig Studio now available in Fedora Repos

by on Dec.22, 2009, under Creativity, Graphic Arts

As per a Fedora Design mailing list post, Fedora now has the Synfig Studio program available in the repos for Fedora 11–12.

For those of you who don’t know what Synfig is:

Synfig is a powerful, industrial-strength vector-based open-source 2D animation software package, designed from the ground-up for producing feature-film quality animation with fewer people and resources. While there are many other programs currently on the market to aid with the efficient production of 2D animation, we are currently unaware of any other software that can do what our software can. –Synfig homepage

Synfig has supported releases for all major operating systems.

If you are anxious and interested in getting started with Synfig, you can check out tutorials available at: Synfig Wiki Tutorials or check out a gallery at Synfig Gallery
